The Uganda National NGO Forum and Wilde Ganzen Foundation will host a two-day linking and learning workshop targeting organisations that have received project funding from Wilde Ganzen Foundation in the last five years through collaboration with their Dutch partner.
The aim of the workshop is to exchange knowledge and experiences on questions around organizational strengthening and building local support for their work. Wilde Ganzen believes that building local support is crucial in ensuring that civil society organizations in Uganda will be able to survive and thrive.
Moreover, it will be an opportunity to network and exchange experiences with other like-minded organizations and other highlight include; Local Fundraising: why is it important and is it feasible in Uganda? How to mobilize support from government, Organizational Capacity Assessment, Introduction to the work of Uganda National NGO Forum and district network committees.
Practical information:
Time and date: October 25th and 26th in Jinja. Participants: You can nominate a maximum of two participants that have a key position in your organization. Reserve your space as soon as possible if you would like to join because seats are limited. You can register for the workshop by sending the registration form to Sarah Pacutho: s.pacutho@n y7oforum.or.ug Cost: Participation is free and accommodation and full board will be provided. However, you are kindly asked to cover your transportation cost.
