I am proud to have completed the Basics of Local Fundraising course with Change the Game Academy, gaining practical skills to mobilise resources from within. We need to be sustainable!
Change the Game Academy has been a game-changer in my journey to empower communities.
After attending the Local Fundraising training in 2022, I became a Mobilising Support trainer the following year.
These tools helped us at AWARD launch people-led initiatives where women’s groups and local CBOs raise their own funds—and use them to mobilise support for social change.
Now, even local governments are stepping in to support.
It’s a powerful cycle: by the community, for the community.
